We're a community taproom about a mile north of Brighton town centre, and we pour beer and cider from Sussex producers only. Whether you're a seasoned beer lover or just starting out, our cosy and friendly space invites you to discover new flavours, share good conversation, and unwind.
Step inside to find a warm, welcoming environment — perfect for catching up with friends, enjoying a quiet pint, or meeting fellow beer enthusiasts. Children and dogs are welcome too, so nobody gets left at home.

Every tap comes from a Sussex producer — no exceptions. Rotating craft beer and cider from independent county producers. From bold IPAs to smooth stouts, there's always something fresh on.

Our wine list is put together by a local wine specialist, and the bar is stocked like any good pub — spirits, soft drinks, the lot. Wines are available to take home too.

The whole place, yours for the night — up to 80 inside. Birthdays, work socials and celebrations of all kinds, with no hire fee and just a minimum bar spend.

We're community-led, community-driven and community-focused, and we've made ourselves a rule: every beer and cider we serve comes from Sussex. In an era where "craft" can conceal corporate ownership, that keeps us honest — backing genuine independent county brewers and cider makers.
We Don't Just Sell Beer
Our wine list is put together by a local wine specialist — the bottles come from all over, the expertise is right here in Brighton. Behind the bar you'll also find spirits, soft drinks and everything else you'd expect from a proper pub.
Hot Dogs & Street Food
XXL footlong hot dogs are behind the bar all week — big, filthy, and built to go with a cold one. Most weekends there's an independent street food van parked up outside too.
Kids & Dogs Welcome
We're a family local, not a members' club. Children are welcome, and so are dogs — there's a water bowl by the benches out front.
Take it home with you — as with our beers, our wines are available to take away. Our fridges are stocked with independent Sussex beers, so the discovery doesn't have to end when you leave.

Need a Party Venue?
Looking for somewhere to host your next party in Brighton? Hire Lost And Found and you get the whole taproom to yourselves — no hire fee, no other punters, and a night run exactly how you want it. Most bookings are made about a week ahead.
No Hire Fee
You don't pay for the room — just a minimum bar spend. From £250 midweek, £1,000 at weekends.
The Whole Place
We're a small venue, so hire means exclusive use — up to 80 inside, or 100 with the outside space in good weather.
Decorate It Your Way
The place is yours for the night. Bring your decorations, dress it however you like, and set it up how you want it.
Your Music, Your Sport
We'll run your playlist through the system, or bring your own DJ. Watching something? Any match or race you like, on the screens.
Food Sorted
Footlong hot dogs from us, a full buffet from the deli opposite, or pizzas from next door — plenty of guests just bring a stack in.
Sussex Bar
Every beer and cider from a Sussex producer, a locally curated wine list, and any extra drinks you want in — just ask.
For Your Event
Your Party, Your Way
We're a small place, so hire means the whole thing — no other customers, no shared corners. Drop us an email about a week before your date and we'll sort the rest between us.
Midweek Hire
Monday to Thursday, the taproom is yours. Ideal for work socials, birthdays and get-togethers that don't need a Saturday night.
No hire fee — minimum bar spend from £250.

We had an absolutely brilliant family birthday party for an 18th at Lost+Found. Jonny is a great host and made everyone feel welcome. It's a lovely little venue with a brilliant range of drinks. I'd highly recommend it and I'm more than a little jealous of the regulars who have this as their local.
